New music from
Adam Wakefield is here — and One Country is bringing it to you exclusively.

“The Voice” season 10 runner-up — who came in behind Alison Porter (otherwise known as Curly Sue) — is releasing “Blame It On Me” on March 24, but we’ve got it for you now.

“Blame It On Me” is a soulful, country jam that can be interpreted several ways. At it’s core, it’s about a person who is tired of fighting. Whatever the relationship is, Adam takes responsibility as he sings the chorus and begs the other person to move on.

“What I love about this song is that it leaves some things ‘up in the air’ and speaks different things to different people,” Adam tells One Country. “This is a song I’ll never grow tired of singing, so I knew it was the one to come out the gate with to introduce people to what’s coming down the road.”

While we have it for you now, make sure to buy or add “Blame It On Me” to your Spotify playlist when it comes out on March 24.
