Anna Kendrick, Darlene Love and Jimmy Fallon Performing “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” With Children’s Instruments Is The Happiest Thing You’ll See Today

Jimmy Fallon is back with his recurring segment on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” that puts celebrities and his back up band, The Roots, on classroom instruments to perform holiday songs.

In the latest episode of “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” Jimmy invited Darlene Love to partake in the segment by singing her 1963 hit, “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” with “Pitch Perfect 3” star Anna Kendrick and The Roots accompanying her with the children’s instruments.

Previous celebs who have joined in on the segment include, Adele, Idina Menzel, Ed Sheeran, Robin Thicke, Madonna and Mariah Carey on “All I Want For Christmas is You.”

Dressed in white turtle necks and Santa hats, the group comes together for one of the most joyous and fun-loving renditions of the song, originally made popular by Darlene. Darlene takes the lead, followed by Anna who can hold her own in the vocal arena. However they forgot to give Anna an instrument, perhaps a red solo cup would have been instrumental here.

We’re thinking Darlene and Anna should take this show on the road.
