Think of your favorite musician or band. Like any fan, I’m sure you can’t wait to share their music with friends and talk about it on social media. We love to share the things we love. Well, Bill Murray loves music, so much so that he bought out a significant chunk of his local theater and handed out tickets for free when The SteelDrivers came to town.

According to the Charleston Post and Courier, Murray bought a significant chunk of unsold tickets to show and started handing them out to people in line waiting to see the GRAMMY Award winning bluegrass group.

“He did not buy all of the seats that were left,” said Charleston Music Hall manager Charles Carmody. But he did buy a big block and was helping get people to the show.”

Murray met The SteelDrivers on set of the movie “Get Low” while Chris Stapleton was still in the band. Stapleton shared the story with “Ty, Kelly, and Chuck” earlier this year.

Bill Murray will never not be cool.
