-

Ever since Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani became an item, fans have had mixed emotions on the relationship. Regardless of how anyone else feels, the two are seemingly happier than ever before. In fact, Blake Shelton says he believes his relationship with Gwen was “meant to be.”

“She’s everything you could hope a human being could be,” Blake said in an interview with TODAY’s Natalie Morales. “That’s what Gwen is.”

While he kept his lips tightly sealed about any potential engagement plans, Blake did say that he and Gwen are past the stage of simply dating.

“Gwen and I aren’t just dating,” he said.”You know, this is something that I feel like is meant to be. I’ve learned more from Gwen Stefani, as a human being and how to grow as a human being, than I have from anybody ever in my life — anybody.”

Blake Shelton also discussed his new Hallmark movie, “Time For Me To Come Home For Christmas,” which he executive produced.

The new film was inspired by the song, “Time for Me to Come Home,” which Blake wrote with his mom, Dorothy Shackleford, in 2012 and later inspired a book of the same name. The song is featured on Blake’s 2012 Christmas album, Cheers, It’s Christmas.
