Blake Shelton Reads Comments From People Who Don’t Think He Is The Sexiest Man Alive

Blake Shelton received the honor of Sexiest Man Alive from People magazine and has been celebrating all week long, since the announcement was made.

However, like most things in life, there are differing opinions on what sexy is. Now while many of us agree that Blake is a very sexy man, a lot of people didn’t agree with the choice. It’s one thing to read tweets from those who hide behind the computer spewing mean things, but it’s another to see a celebrity read the mean things said about them. Why does it all of sudden make them funny?

Probably because of the great sense of humor it takes to endure that. Part of what makes Blake sexy is that he is able to laugh at himself and those mean words. The “I’ll Name The Dogs” singer was backstage at “The Ellen Show” when he read a few of those mean tweets from…we won’t call them fans.

“I’m just wallowing, celebrating my People magazine Sexiest Man Alive honor that’s been bestowed upon me. And I wanted to look at social media and see what’s being said out there by my supportive people. So I just wanted to read some of my favorite mean posts.”

Here’s a sample:

“Woke up this morning to news that Blake Shelton is the Sexiest Man Alive. R.I.P. every sexy man in the world who died in the great sexy plague of 2017 overnnight. You will be missed.”

And they go on from there.
