Blake Shelton is really fed up with the lies and rumors the are reported about him on what feels like a daily basis. As Blake’s career has skyrocketed, thanks to “The Voice,” his every move is tracked by media and internet trolls think they have the right to tell him exactly what they think.

Well Blake has had enough. The Oklahoma native took to Twitter to rant about the inaccuracies reported about a photo that appeared of he and Speaker of the House Paul Ryan at the Ole Red Tishomingo restaurant earlier this week. After seeing the photo circulate, those very trolls attacked the singer for being in the company of Ryan, who is in the process off pushing through a very divisive and controversial tax plan.

Immediately, stories appeared about secret meetings with Ryan and Blake’s political affiliations. Blake wasn’t having it and was not happy. As he tells it, the two just ran into each other at the restaurant and “said hello and took pictures,” as most people do.

“I can’t even fathom the gossip I read about myself anymore,” Blake began. “Seriously.. Literally walked into a restaurant WITH MY FAMILY (including children, LOTS of children), bumped to a politician that I’ve never even met before, said hello and took pictures (like I would try to do with anyone I meet who asks). Then we immediately left because it was too cold for the outdoor area we had reserved. And now according to the internet we were hanging out or having some big secret meeting in a PUBLIC restaurant!!!!!! WTF?!!!”

“Are you kidding me?” he continued. ” I don’t do politics no matter WHAT you’ve read about me and how it’s been spun. And THATS the TRUTH from ME. And if you can find it in your heart to hate me for that then so be it. This is out of control…”

There you have it. Right from Blake himself. You can’t believe everything you read. Nowadays, you can’t believe a lot of what you read. But the 41-year-old wasn’t finished.

“Oh! And one more thing… There is a SHITLOAD of fake accounts out there claiming to be me. Be careful… Actually why the hell are we even on here anymore? Let’s go live our lives!!!,” he wrote.

Could the “I’ll Name the Dogs” singer be so fed up with the lies that he will be exiting social media? We’ll just have to wait and see. And who could blame him really?
