Before paying tribute to Randy Travis by singing his signature, “Forever and Ever, Amen,” Brad Paisley told the Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, “you were a beacon of light on the radio… to this day you are still one of the greatest singers we have ever had, I’m honored to do this for you today, pal. What took the Hall of Fame so long?”

Travis was being inducted to the Hall of Fame, along with Charlie Daniels and Fred Foster. Paisley performed an acoustic version of “Forever and Ever, Amen,” while Alan Jackson performed “On The Other Hand” and Garth Brooks sang “Three Wooden Crosses.”
