With their touring time turning into an extended stay at home, country artists are much like the rest of us sheltering safely at home. They’re doing things like binge-watching television, working out, reading books and developing new skills. Even Brad Paisley is learning how to run a home salon by coloring wife Kimberly Williams Paisley’s hair.

Yikes, right?

Turns out, Brad, who pretty much has the Midas touch to whatever he does, did a pretty good job, despite Kimberly’s reservations.

Kim shared video on her Instagram page that takes us all through the process, from Brad helping her to read the directions, to the messy mixing of the color developer, through the meticulous application of the product.

At one point, Brad jokes, “When did you get a tattoo on your head,” and later he mumbles, “This is going to ruin everything I’ve worked towards in my image. Everything.” When Kimberly thanks him, he grunts, “shut up.”

Finally, we get to see the end result and we have to say, she looks pretty darn good!
