Over the past year or so, Anthony Rizzo (first baseman for the Chicago Cubs) and Brett Eldredge have performed together a lot. But, they’re usually singing one of Brett’s songs. Anthony’s walk-up song is even Brett’s “Drunk On Your Love.”

For now, they’ve retired that duet and have moved on to the updated version of “Go Cubs Go,” which includes the line, “the Cubs are world champs today!”

Yes, Brett was wearing his Cubs jersey all evening.

Brett was in Chicago for CBS Radio’s second annual Stars and Strings concert, which brought out some of the biggest names in country music for an evening to celebrate and thank veterans and their families for all the sacrifices they have made for this great country. Of course, he sang “Go Cubs Go” for the sold out crowd.
