In these modern times, moms are often released from the hospital 24 to 48 hours after giving birth, so it is a little concerning to learn that Jason Aldean’s wife, Brittany, is still hospitalized after giving birth to the couple’s new daughter, Navy Rome, on February 4.

In an Instagram story, Brittany shared an image of her very swollen feet. She writes, “When your labor goes amazing…but then things go south. Still hospital living with my trooper of a hubs and a precious little girl. One blood transfusion…and swollen everything. #WorthIt”

Brittany doesn’t disclose why she needed a transfusion, but she has been quite open in discussing her infertility issues in conceiving their firstborn, Memphis. She also is an advocate for balance on her socials. The new mom often shares organic products that she has discovered, including cosmetics and baby goods, and gives glimpses into her other healthy fitness and dining habits.

Fingers crossed that whatever issue Brittany is having at the moment is resolved quickly and the family can head home to start their new normal. Of course, the new normal isn’t just beautiful baby Navy Rome. Jason is also celebrating his 21st No. 1 single, which is appropriately titled, “Girl Like You.”

Jason still has a couple of months before he hits the road and it’s unknown if he’ll be bringing the family along, at least on those first few dates. However, when the “Ride All Night” tour kicks off in May with Kane Brown and Carly Pearce, it may be a family affair! The tour currently continues through September.
