Carly Pearce Makes “TODAY” Show Debut With Stunning Rendition of “Every Little Thing”

-

As part of her breakout year, Carly Pearce made her debut on the “TODAY” show this week, performing her current single, “Every Little Thing.”

The newcomer headed to New York as she continued making the rounds to promote her new album, Every Little Thing, which was released Friday, Oct. 13.

Carly chatted with hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb before kicking off her performance. Both Hoda and Kathie Lee are apparently big fans of Carly because they were more excited about her performance than anyone else. And they had good reason to be. The performance went over so well, it prompted actress and wife of Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, who was visiting the set, to want to meet the new country artist.

Hoda rushed over to Carly when the song was done saying,”Come here. Wait Carly, Rita wants to say hi.”

Carly’s seductive vocals have given the new artist a bonafide hit, currently at No. 7 and rising on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. The song has the 27-year-old singing about remembering “every little thing” about an ex, from the highs all the way down to the hurt, after getting her heart broken.

“The scent that you left on my pillow / The sound of your heart beating with mine / The look in your eyes like a window / The taste of your kiss soaked in wine / Every little thing / I remember every little thing / The high, the hurt, the shine, the sting / Of every little thing,” she sings kicking off the song.

Carly is a force to be reckoned with. The Kentucky native has carved her spot in country music with her hauntingly beautiful vocals that make you feel every ounce of pain and sorrow she is facing, leaving you with nothing less than goosebumps. But the Top 10 hit is only one of 13 tracks that will leave you wanting more, as you delve into Every Little Thing.

Every Little Thing is out now.
