It happened, y’all! Carrie Underwood revealed the gender of her baby on the way during her and Brad Paisley’s intro at the 2018 CMA Awards.

After performing their intro song, Brad began to press Carrie to reveal the gender, asking if it was a “Johnny or June,” “Waylon or Willie,” “George or Tammy,” “Tim or Faith,” and so on. Finally, after about a full minute of banter, Carrie exclaims, “Fine, it’s a Willie!” as the crowd erupts in cheers.

That’s right, folks — it’s a boy!

Brad quickly took to Twitter to share the news of baby boy Underwood using the hashtag #CarrieBlewIt, poking fun at the moment when he revealed the gender of Carrie’s first born and the hashtag #BradBlewIt went viral.

Brad then joke that Carrie’s first-born son would be coming on stage to sing a song, only to have Mason Ramsey appear in his classic cowboy getup. What a time to be alive.

Back in September, Carrie revealed that she and husband Mike Fisher had endured three miscarriages in the last two years before getting pregnant with baby no. 2. “In the beginning, it was like, ‘Okay, God, we know this is, just wasn’t Your timing. And that is all right. We will bounce back and figure our way through it,” Carrie shared on CBS Sunday Morning.

“I had always been afraid to be angry,” Carrie said. “Because we are so blessed. And my son, Isaiah, is the sweetest thing. And he’s the best thing in the world. And I’m like, ‘If we can never have any other kids, that’s okay, because he’s amazing.’ And I have this amazing life. Like, really, what can I complain about? I can’t. I have an incredible husband, incredible friends, an incredible job, an incredible kid. Can I be mad? No.”

Needless to say, we’re beyond thrilled for Carrie and Mike and baby boy on the way!
