Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley are gearing up for their 11th year as co-hosts of the Country Music Awards in Nashville on Nov. 14. The dynamic duo stopped by “Good Morning America” Friday (Nov. 9) to talk about what we can expect from the show and if Carrie will reveal the gender of her second child.
Robin Roberts congratulated Carrie on her pregnancy and co-host Michael Strahan went a little further trying to get Carrie to reveal the gender of her unborn child on the morning show. However, Carrie didn’t bite. But will Brad, like he did for Carrie’s first child, reveal the gender at the upcoming CMA Awards?
“Are we going to have a gender reveal this time around,” Michael asked?
“I think your taking great pains to make sure that I don’t even know,” Brad said to Carrie. “‘Cause right now I’m so in the dark. She knows better. I’ll blow it again.”
“I’m not telling Brad,” Carrie said.
Michael did try his best to get Carrie to reveal the gender right on the show. “Well since [Brad] might blow it then. Instead of doing it then, do you want to maybe do it now?” Michael asked.
“I’m not even sure we’ve really told all our family and stuff,” Carrie said. So that’s a no?
Soon after, Robin presented Carrie with some gifts for the new baby and her first born child, Isaiah, saying, “this is for the little guy, little whoever is coming.” Does Robin know something we don’t know?
Tune in to the 52nd Annual CMA Awards when it airs live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashvill on Nov. 14 on ABC.
