Carrie Underwood Has Us Rethinking Our Feelings About Turtles

Carrie Underwood is revealing a fact about herself that has us questioning our own feelings about turtles.

That fact… drum roll please… is that Carrie Underwood does NOT like Turtles. What? Why?

What’s wrong with Turtles? Is it all turtles or just the real life hard-shelled type. It’s unclear if her dislike extends to our adorable cartoon friends.

We have to ask. What about the tortoise and the hair? Dr. Seuss’ Yertle The Turtle? The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Squirt and Crush from “Finding Nemo?” We must get answers.

Apparently Carrie’s son, Isaiah, doesn’t share his mother’s feelings about our green shelled friends.

Carrie took to Instagram to post a photo of her son getting to close for comfort with a turtle, prompting the “Church Bells” singer to share this little known fact.

“Fun fact: the only animal I do NOT like is a turtle,” she wrote in her post. “I’m fine with 🐍s and 🕷s and anything else that most people find scary, but 🐢s are NOT OK. (That said I’ll still pull my car over to help one cross the road…even though I don’t like it). I’m glad my son doesn’t share my feelings… #turtlesareweird #walkfaster #pleasedontbiteme.”

Snakes and spiders are apparently OK, but Turtles are not OK. Carrie you got some splainin’ to do.
