Carrie Underwood’s Husband, Mike Fisher, Tries To Sing “Cry Pretty” And…It Doesn’t Go Well

Now that Carrie Underwood’s husband, Mike Fisher, is retired from the Nashville Predators, the former hockey player can spend some time taking singing lessons.

While Mike can probably carry a tune, he’s no Carrie Underwood. But he shouldn’t feel bad, because not many people are. Carrie took to Instagram to share a video of her husband trying, and we stress the word trying, to sing her current single “Cry Pretty.”

In the video, Mike is singing the chorus of “Cry Pretty” and trying to imitate Carrie’s soaring vocals and range changes. Just then he breaks into a raspy rocker mode, singing “No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no” and then smiles into the camera.

Carrie asks, “You going to start your new career as a country singer babe?” Which is a fair question since Mike recently retired from hockey. Stranger things have happened.

From the video, we’re guessing Carrie uses the word “no” a lot with Mike, because he implied that he hears “no, no no, no, no” many times. And right on cue, little Isaiah, the couples 2-year-old son, begins to laugh out loud.. It’s just another day in the life of Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher.

Sounds just like the original…🤪 #CryPretty @mfisher1212
