It’s “Game On” For Carrie Underwood and “Sunday Night Football”

-

With Carrie Underwood set to return to “Sunday Night Football” for the sixth consecutive year, NBC is sharing a clip of the new tune, “Game On.”

Past seasons had Carrie singing “Oh, Sunday Night,” to the tune of her hit with Miranda Lambert, “Something Bad.” This season shows “SNF” and Carrie changing it up.

Game on /  Hey, it’s Sunday night / America’s game on NBC / the only place to be / Game on / game on / it’s Sunday night,” she sings in the clip.

The 2018-2019 opener will have Carrie joined by a host of NFL players including, Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott, Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff, Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins, New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles OT Lane Johnson, Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz, Philadelphia Eagles DT Fletcher Cox, Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown, and Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson.

“Sunday Night Football” took to Instagram to share a clip of Carrie in the studio belting out the tune.

“Game On! Sunday Night Football returns September 9th on NBC. 🎶” they wrote.

The full performance will be revealed on “Sunday Night Football” on Sept. 9 when the Chicago Bears take on Green Bay Packers.
