Musical director Paul Shaffer is helming the tribute concert that will feature “rare performances by honorees and never-before-seen renditions by those they’ve inspired.”

The live concert will take place on July 11 at the Beacon Theatre in New York City and broadcast on PBS’ “Great Performances” later this year.
