Chris Kroeze Slays Stevie Ray Vaughan’s “Pride & Joy” To Earn Place on “The Voice”

-

As “The Voice” Blind Auditions continued Tuesday night, Chris Kroeze found himself deciding between coaches Blake Shelton and Jennifer Hudson.

The Wisconsin native took to the stage singing Stevie Ray Vaughan’s “Pride & Joy.” While the country rocker had all the coaches bopping in their chairs, only Jennifer and Blake turned their chairs.

I heard a bit of blues in there and you almost caught one of my shoes up there singing like that, Jennifer said to Chris, referring to her habit of throwing her shoes at contestants she likes.

“Your singing is electrifying. You can make it into this finale,” Blake told Chris.

But it was up to Chris to make the final decision. Would it be Team Blake or Team Jennifer?

“This is really hard for me to say,” Chris teased. “I choose Team Blake.” We knew it all along.
