Chris Pratt and Chris Stapleton are equally lovable, but not equal in their energy levels. That’s just one of the reasons seeing them next to each other is just a real treat.
After the pair performed a lovely version of “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life,” Pratt invited Stapleton to the couch, as he guest hosted “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Pratt immediately poured his buddy a glass of Tennessee whiskey because they had a lot to celebrate, but also, I think he was nervous, because he didn’t really have any questions prepared.
At one point, Pratt said, “I’m a huge fan, a huge fan, a huge fan. I’m fangirling right now. I want to touch your beard, can I?”
And that was literally in the middle of Stapleton explaining what the title of his new album, From A Room: Vol. 2 means.
Pratt then tried to recall an evening he shared with Stapleton in Nashville, but the details are a little fuzzy, “I heard from a friend that we were going shot for shot with whiskey deep into the night. We closed down one bar.”
Stapleton said Pratt took him to places he had never even heard of in Nashville, but that Pratt quit drinking before he did, so he was able to say, “I won.”
