Chris Stapleton Just Pulled Off A Chart-Topping Feat That Only One Other Man Has Ever Done

Ever since Chris Stapleton performed at the 2015 CMA Awards and won three awards that night, it’s been all Chris Stapleton all the time.

Prior to Stapleton’s performance at the CMA Awards, his debut album, Traveller, had sold about 3,000 copies in 6 months. Following the Awards, those numbers shot up about 6,000 percent and landed him at the top of the Billboard 200 and the Billboard Country Albums Chart.

Now, with three records out under his name he’s achieved a feat only one other man– Garth Brooks– ever has.

Stapleton currently holds the top three spots on the Billboard Country Albums chart with his Traveller, From A Room: Vol. 1 and From A Room: Vol. 2. This comes after From A Room: Vol. 1 won CMA Album of the Year last fall and the GRAMMY for Best Country Album.

Brooks accomplished the feat in 1992 with his albums Ropin’ the Wind, No Fences and his self-titled debut album.

Also, Stapleton’s “Broken Halos” has entered into the Top 10 of Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs Chart, after 42 weeks on the move.
