From touring with George Strait, Alan Jackson and Blake Shelton, to the chart-topping single, “Think of You,” with Cassadee Pope, Chris Young has worked with a number of different artists in Nashville.

“I’ve been so lucky to work with George Strait, Alan Jackson, Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts and Jason Aldean. I’ve been so incredibly lucky to check off so many names that were on that I want to work or I want to tour with so and so,” Young recently explained after releasing a single with another musical favorite of his– Vince Gill.

But, there is one guy that is missing from Young’s long list of co-workers– Kenny Chesney.

Young said that Chesney called to congratulate him on his first No. 1, but Young thought he was being pranked.

“The guy that called and told me congrats on my first No. 1, and I didn’t think it was him, I thought they were playing a practical joke on me,” Young said.

Young also said that he wants to work with Chesney in the future.

“I actually have never done a show with Chesney before, so hopefully at some point in the near future I’ll be able to check that off the list too,” Young said.
