Adele played Nashville and the city lost their minds.

Everyone I know was at the show and everyone had the same reaction: it was the greatest night of their lives.

Country stars were among the enthusiastic crowd posting their delight on social media.

Faith Hill thanked God for Adele:

Maren Morris was caught singing along:

This show. I don't know if I can describe how great it was. You know when you hear a song or an interview with an artist and you think "oh. I could like them." And then you hear another song, and maybe another and then their whole album and you are invested, and then you hear another album. All of a sudden YOU ARE IN and you are thankful they make music. And then you see them live and you are so worried that they may not make you feel like you felt on all of those songs before…thank you, @adele, for making me feel like being your fan means something. You are honest + talented + your show tonight was one of the best ever. I'm am in awe, truly! ๐Ÿ’ฏ#hellofromtheotherside #Womanista #adele #nashville #someonelikeyou
