Dierks Bentley, Brett Eldredge and More Hilariously Respond to Country Haters

What’s a Honky Tonk Badonkadonk? Is there a single dirt road every country star has to visit before writing a song? Are all country singers dog people? Does Jesus always have to take the wheel?

These are just a few of the questions posed to country singers by BuzzFeed. For whatever reason, people love to hate on country music. And the country singers posed with these questions had some awesome responses.

For instance, without hesitation Trace Adkins answered the age old question about his hit song, a “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” is: “A well proportioned butt.”‘

As for that single dirt road, Dierks Bentley went all in, describing a trek “two miles South of Nashville.” I guess there’s some initiation I hadn’t heard about.

“Why does every country song have to mention a tractor, beer, boots or kicking up the hay?” one anonymous user wrote.

“What the hell are you listening to?” was Dustin Lynch’s spot-on response. With other singers echoing my own sentiments, what the heck is “kicking up the hay?”

Leave it to Trace Adkins to define country music though. “Somebody needs to die, somebody needs to get laid and you’ve gotta mention your mama?” he said.
