11 Random Questions with “The Voice” Winner Craig Wayne Boyd


After season 7 winner of “The Voice, Craig Wayne Boyd, released his new single, “Better Together,” from his album Top Shelf., he sat down with One Country to get a little personal. 

We asked the Texas native to reveal some things, most people wouldn’t already know. From his biggest inspiration and favorite sport to what’s on his bucket list and what he’s listening to now, we get to know Craig a little better. 

One Country: Who’s your biggest inspiration?

Craig Wayne Boyd: Right now, probably my family

OC: Who would you want to play you in a movie?

CWB: Chris Hemsworth.

OC: What’s the one thing you would put on your bucket list?

CWB: I want to go to Ireland.

OC: Do you have a favorite sport?

CWB: I like football. That’s the one sport that I would have loved to have played as a kid. I didn’t play sports. I played all music.

OC: Are you a morning person or a night owl?

CWB: Both. I don’t sleep a lot.

OC: Who was the last person you texted?

CWB: My tour manager.

OC: What do you like to do in your free time?

CWB: I love to cook. I love to go out riding BMX with my son

OC: Do you have a specialty that you make?

CWB: Most recently, I put some recipes in a magazine. I did some … It’s spinach, cream cheese, and ground turkey enchiladas.

OC: What are you listening to right now?

CWB: Last night on my way home from rehearsal, I was listening to old school Brooks and Dunn, “Neon Moon.”

OC: What’s your favorite season?

CWB: The ones that have sun in it.

OC: What trait do you like most about yourself?

CWB: My quirky sense of humor probably. Some people get it, some people don’t, but I think it’s fun.
