As 2018 comes to a close, Dan + Shay show no signs of slowing down. The country duo are making the rounds promoting their current single “Speechless,” and their latest stop was “Good Morning America” on Tuesday (Dec. 4).

The duo took the stage with their stellar vocals to belt out the tune that hit the top of Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and continues it’s rise on Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Dressed casually in jeans and t-shirts—Shay added a two-toned denim jacket—the duo left the audience, wait for it…”Speechless.” Yes, we went there. The ballad, written by Dan, Shay, Jordan Reynolds and Laura Veltz was inspired by their wives and has them singing about being left speechless by their loves of their life.

“Speechless is definitely inspired by our wives,” Shay says in a statement. “It’s very cool to release songs that are not only stories of our lives but also very personal experiences. Seeing our wives for the first time in their wedding dresses was absolutely unforgettable and we talked about that while writing the song and bringing that moment to life in this song.”

In addition, the guys recently took to Instagram to share the news that their fans raised $60,000 to help re-build the Tree of Life Synagogue, which was the setting of a mass shooting in October.

“Our fans donated more than $60K to re-building Tree of Life synagogue, with the help of our partners at Entercom, and the music community of Pittsburgh. Every single Concert for Unity shirt was sold, and proceeds donated as well,” they wrote. “For those who weren’t able to attend the show, and still want to help, we’ve pressed another batch of shirts and made them available in our online merch store. The proceeds will be donated. #strongerthanhate.”

Dan + Shay are currently on the road as part of Chris Young’s Losing Sleep Tour and will head to the UK in January 2019 for their headlining tour.
