“Tennessee Whiskey” was a hit for George Jones in ’83, but the song has come back to light since Chris Stapleton included it on his album, Traveller.

The tune was written by David Allan Coe, Linda Hargrove and Dean Dillon for Coe’s 1981 album. However, it didn’t top the charts until Jones covered it.

During this year’s ACM Awards week, Dean Dillion participated the ACM Party for a Cause, which benefits the Academy of Country Music’s ACM Lifting Lives charity.
