Dierks Bentley Takes “The Mountain” and the Beach To New York City For “TODAY” Show Concert Series

Fresh off the release of his new album, The Mountain, and performing for thousands of fans during CMA Music Fest, Dierks Bentley headed to New York to be a part of the TODAY Show Summer Concert series.

Dierks took the stage to perform songs from his latest offering, including “Living,” and his current No. 1 hit, “Woman, Amen.” Prior to his performance Dierks chatted with hosts Savanna Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Al Roker and Carson Daly about his new release.

“The year has been off to a great start,” he told the hosts. “It’s been a awesome journey with the record. About a year ago started working on it, writing it and now here we are with you guys. This is a great culmination to the whole album project.”

Following his two album performances, Dierks took the crowd to the beach, singing his 2016 hit “Somewhere on a Beach.”

“Well I figured the perfect song—we’re in New York City— so we’ll do ‘Somewhere on a Beach.’ Makes sense right?” Dierks said before launching into the crowd pleaser.

Following his appearance, the Arizona native is back on the road for his Mountain High Tour, which finds him in Pittsburgh on June 15th.
