Dierks Bentley Wore a Suit to the Opry and Sang His New Single, “Woman, Amen”

Grand Ole Opry member Dierks Bentley knows when to dress up and when to dress down like a ’90s country music superstar. For his most recent appearance at the Grand Ole Opry, to sing his newest single, “Woman, Amen,” Bentley dressed to the 9s like a country music singer from the ’60s and he looked and sounded great.

The song is the first single off of Bentley’s upcoming album, The Mountain, and it was inspired by his wife Cassidy. He told NPR, “She’s been around me too long. I’ve come back from so many writing appointments over the past 12 years like ‘I wrote this song about you’ and she’s like, ‘Just because it’s a love song doesn’t mean it’s about me.’ She can see through things… it’s really was one of my more personal songs about her and about the way I feel…a song that talks about how I’d be lost without [Cassidy].”
