Dolly Parton, Reba and More Say Goodbye to Movie Legend Burt Reynolds

When news of Burt Reynolds death broke on Thursday, prominent figures from every area of entertainment spoke out to remember the movie star legend. But Burt had a special place in the heart of country fans and stars alike.

Many country stars grew up watching movies like “Smokey and the Bandit,” “The Cannonball Run,” and “Deliverance.” But then there are those that actually starred with Burt in major films, including Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire and Randy Travis.

The stars took to social media to pay their respects to the Iconic actor, who made his mark on Hollywood.

Dolly Parton

“Oh how sad I am today along with Burt‘s millions of fans around the world as we mourn one of our favorite leading men. Burt and Dolly starred together in the 1982 comedy “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.”

Reba McEntire
