As Carly Pearce wraps up a year of firsts—her first No. 1 single (“Every Little Thing”), her first award (CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year) and her first time playing Nissan Stadium during CMA Fest—the singer is giving One Country a sneak peek into who she is.

The 28-year-old singer recently released her third single, “Closer to You,” the first from her upcoming album and has much more to look forward to in 2019.

“2019 is going to bring a new album, which is crazy and exciting and scary, but it’s time and I’m ready for it,” she tells One Country. “I’m excited for people to hear this next record.”

Did you know that Carly likes vegetables on her pizza, but hates yellow squash? That she’s a big fan of Meryl Streep and had a childhood crush on Justin Timberlake. We learned all that and more when Carly shared a few of her favorite things.
