When Colton and Zach Swon of the Swon Brothers put the call out to fans to submit photos and videos of when they were growing up, the call was answered in abundance. The result of those submissions is their new lyric video for “What Ever Happened,” premiering exclusively at One Country.
The nostalgic tune was written by Colton and Zach in under an hour. The guys were remembering simpler times while discussing how much things have changed since they were kids. The pop country tune is the first single from the brothers upcoming album.
“What ever happened to the good old days/ We’re running out of the good old days / Moving in reverse / Something’s got to change / What ever happened to the good old days,” they sing in the chorus.
Enter Swon Brothers fans. Photos and videos came from all over, showing their fans in simpler times, when they were young. If you look closely you’ll catch a shot or two of Zach and Colton as youngsters too.
The new lyric video is one big #TBT (Throwback Thursday) which brings back memories of the good ole days. It’s hard not to smile and while watching the video and tap your foot to the catchy beat. The brothers also included a message to fans at the end of the video. “Thank you to our fans for letting us share your memories,” they wrote.
The Swon Brothers burst onto the country music scene in 2013, after finishing in third, behind winner Danielle Bradbery, during the fourth season of The Voice.
