As we near the end of 2017, it’s only fitting that One Country shares a few of those classic, end of the year lists. Like you, we are kind of bored with the typical end of the year lists, so we’re putting our own spin on a few!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved watching award shows. Even during shows where I didn’t really care about the nominees or winners, the performances, the drama, and the big reveals have always been enough to keep me intrigued. My absolute favorite part of any awards show to this day, though, is the fashion.

From Carrie Underwood’s 11 outfit changes at the 51st Annual CMA Awards to Tim and Faith’s timeless red carpet looks, 2017 featured countless iconic fashion moments from our favorite country stars. Here’s a roundup of the best of the best in country music fashion from the last year, plunging necklines, Faith Hill’s legs, and all.

15 Most Fashionable Country Music Moments of 2017:

1. Maren Morris’ Plunging Bodysuit

Remember Maren’s performance with Alicia Keys at the 2017 GRAMMY Awards? I was (and still am) obsessed with the outfit Maren wore– a black bodysuit with draping wings, embroidered flowers and a plunging neckline. Then again, I think Maren could pull off a burlap sack as a dress and make it look chic.

2. Carrie Underwood’s Royal Blue Dress

Of all of Carrie’s 11 looks at the 2017 CMAs, this royal blue, off-the-shoulder gown was hands down my favorite.

3. Faith and Tim At It Again…

I mean, SERIOUSLY? I still can’t get over the coordination that went into planning this timeless look at the 2017 GRAMMY Awards. Tim’s pocket square has to be the exact shade of Faith’s dress.

4. Miranda Lambert’s Classy Gown

I don’t care what you say– this shade of succulent blue is Miranda Lambert’s color. This gown was classy and accentuated all of Miranda’s best features.

5. Maddie & Tae’s Coordinated Ensemble

Maddie and Tae’s coordinated ACM Awards dresses were fabulous, and were basically what my friends and I thought we looked like at prom in high school. (Side note: We didn’t look like this. Not even close.)

6. Tim McGraw’s Red Jacket

Remember this look from the CMAs? The hat, the bow tie, the jacket…it’s all so classically Tim McGraw.

7. Karen Fairchild in Tassels

When Little Big Town hit the 2017 GRAMMY Awards red carpet, I wasn’t sure about Karen’s look at first glance, but it fits Karen and her overall vibe to a T. It was very roaring ’20s, but with a modern, chic twist.

8. Faith Hill’s Leg-Bearing Gown

Let’s all just take a moment to appreciate the glory that was Faith Hill’s leg at the 2017 CMAs. Her red floor-length gown with a daring slit was the talk of the Internet after the CMAs, and rightfully so. Again, LOOK AT IT.

9. Kelsea Ballerini’s Floral Perfection

Every time I see Kelsea Ballerini, I become more convinced that she’s actually an angel. Her gown at the 2017 GRAMMY Awards was covered in detailed, embroidered florals and branches.

10. Chris and Morgane Stapleton’s #CoupleGoals

Chris and his expecting wife, Morgane, hit the ACM Awards red carpet in serious style, baby bump and all! Their twin babies on the way are destined to have some great fashion sense, don’t you think?

11. Brett Eldredge’s James Bond Chic

I know I’m not the only one who thought Brett Eldredge looked dapper and dashing at the CMAs in his black tux, complete with a hearty bowtie.

12. Maren Morris in Emerald Green

Again, Maren Morris makes the list with her open back ACM Awards red carpet gown. The emerald green complemented her hair and skin tone perfectly, and made her look like royalty.

13. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban as Barbie and Ken

Do they or do they not resemble a limited edition, classy Barbie and Ken? Their Red Carpet ensemble at the Oscars was jaw-dropping– primarily Nicole’s beaded gown.

14. Cole Swindell’s Laid Back Look

I know some people will disagree with me on this (mainly because they already have), but I thought Cole Swindell’s look at the ACM Awards was the male equivalent just-rolled-out-of-bed chic. While normally I’d be opposed to a man wearing a ball cap with a suit, he somehow pulls it off, IMHO.

14. The Best Group Photo Ever

Last but certainly not least, we can’t forget this group picture of Midland, Little Big Town and Kacey Musgraves from Little Big Town’s “The Breakers” tour. From Kacey’s gold metallic wide-leg pants, to Kimberly’s gold platform pumps, to Karen’s gorgeous berry-colored pantsuit to Midland’s signature hats to the snake jeans– there’s SO much happening here, and it’s all worth mentioning.

BONUS: Uncle Si’s Custom Jacket

Because could we really talk about this year’s fashion and not mention Si Robertson, his custom jacket at the CMA Awards, and his plastic cup?

The 2018 GRAMMY Awards are set to be held on January 28, 2018 at Madison Square Garden, and we can’t wait to see what the stars are wearing in the new year! Until then, we’ll just be staring in awe at that picture of Faith Hill’s leg.
