Florida Georgia Line Drop Feel-Good Summer Jam “Sittin’ Pretty”

-

Florida Georgia Line have released a laidback new song called “Sittin’ Pretty” ahead of the weekend. The three-minute jam is the latest hint of new music off their upcoming fourth studio album and makes for the perfect weekend soundtrack.

“Sittin’ Pretty” is a new sound for the band as Brian Kelley sings lead vocals on the track. Penned by Nick Donley, Michael Hardy, and Jake Mitchell, the track takes listeners on a journey as a couple heats things up together.

“We got all damn day to do it our way / Like an old tire swing in the shade, got it made / In the sweet spot / Baby, you and me got a couple free seats on a Cloud Nine ride / Don’t matter if we’re sittin’ on a porch, in the car, at a bar / Or a boat down in Panama City / Gonna be a hell of a view / I’m just fine long as I’m sittin’ next to you sittin’ pretty / I’m sittin’ pretty good,”
Brian sings on the infectious chorus of “Sittin’ Pretty.”

A slowed beat keeps the listener intrigued while Brian’s smooth vocals impress throughout the sultry jam. “Sittin’ Pretty” is the fourth track the band has made available from their forthcoming album. It follows the release of their current single, “Simple,” as well as “Colorado” and “Talk You Out of It.”

While no release date has been revealed for the project, Brian and bandmate Tyler Hubbard have hinted that the album will be available in early 2019. Their previous single, “Meant to Be” featuring Bebe Rexha, is holding strong for the 38th week at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart. The duo surpassed Sam Hunt’s previous 34-week record last year with “Body Like a Back Road” for the longest-running chart topper since the chart launched in 1958.
