Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley are taking it upon themselves to challenge fellow artists to donate to the Clark County Nevada Commission GoFundMe page.
The guys took to Instagram to ask for help in coming together. The goal for the fund is $10 million. In 2 days, 67,058 people have already raised more than $8 million of the $10 million goal. Hubbard and Kelley kicked off the friendly challenge by donating $10,000 of their own money.
“The families and victims affected by the horrific @route91harvest tragedy need our help,” they started their Instagram post. “The Clark County, NV commission has established a GoFundMe account to provide financial relief to the victims and we are grateful to be able to make a donation. Calling on the rest of you to donate what you can, any amount, it doesn’t matter. Every little bit helps. Let’s give the hurt families one less thing to worry about in this time of distress.”
That’s when the boys went a little further and called out their fellow artists to dip into their pockets as well. Hopefully, the artists mentioned, will then take it a step further and challenge more artists to do the same….and so on and so on.
“We challenge @thomasrhettakins @thetimmcgraw @lukebryan @beberexha @jasonderulo @backstreetboys to make a donation as well. Times like this call for us to come together and do what we can to make a difference. Click the link in our bio and donate what you can. Let’s ease the financial burden on the families and victims of this senseless tragedy. Much love y’all.”
Well done boys, well done.
