With the 51st Annual CMA Awards taking place Wednesday night (Nov. 8), everyone is wondering who will win the coveted Entertainer of the year award.

For the second year in a row, Garth Brooks is nominated after taking home the prize last year. He is vying for the award against Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Eric Church and Keith Urban. But if the award were to fall his way again this year, the Oklahoma native says it’s all due to his band and crew.

“It’s the band and crew. It’s easier to talk about them than it is yourself,” Brooks tells One Country. “I will put them up against anybody. I know everybody’s band and crew here and i know everybody’s so proud of their band and crew, so if we’re going to throw down and go, ‘Ok, for one night it’s us against you, I’m going to put my band and crew against anybody.’ They are the hardest working. I watch these guys everyday and they’re the best at what they do. If that award would fall our way, it belongs with the band and crew. “

You can see if Garth will take home the Entertainer of the Year trophy by tuning in to the 51st Annual CMA Music Awards tonight (Nov. 9) on ABC at 8p.m. ET.
