Garth Brooks (58) and Trisha Yearwood (55) are looking out for those around them. The couple has decided to postpone their Facebook live concert, set for July 7, to a later date due to possible exposure to coronavirus. Furthermore, Garth will also postpone his Inside Studio G web series for two weeks.
According to Garth’s website, “Garth and Trisha are fine but, but the Garth/Trisha camp has possibly been exposed to the Covid-19 virus. To be smart about this, they are all quarantining for 2 weeks and thank everyone for their concern.”

Out of an abundance of caution, Garth Brooks is moving his and Trisha Yearwood's July 7th Facebook concert to a later date and postponing Inside Studio G for 2 weeks. While Garth and Trisha are fine, the Garth/Trisha camp has possibly been exposed to the Covid-19 virus. The announcement comes right after Garth launched his one night only drive-in concert across the country—a prerecorded performance screened at more than 300 outdoor theaters in the U.S. and Canada on June 27th.
“Last night I saw everything great about the old days, but it happened right in the middle of the most uncertain times I have known in my life. #ThisIsAMERICA 🇺🇸! I can’t thank you enough!!! love, g #GarthDriveIn,” Garth wrote in a Facebook post following the drive-in event.
The couple were set to perform a Facebook live concert on July 7. This was not their first effort. The superstar couple entertained fans back in March with the first of their joint concerts, as over five million viewers tuned in. Those who missed the Facebook Live were in luck CBS aired a similar special of the couple performing requests from fans during “GARTH & TRISHA LIVE!”
Garth and Trisha, along with their camp, will remain quarantined for the next two weeks – the incubation period of the virus.
We wish them all well.
