10-year-old Bella is in the fight of her life as she battles cancer. With the help Heroes & Cops Against Childhood Cancer, Bella received a heartfelt message from the King of Country Music, George Strait.

Strait taped a video message for Bella and it was shared on the Facebook page of Heroes & Cops Against Childhood Cancer, the organization that helped get Strait involved.

“Hey, Bella, it’s me, George Strait,” Strait said in the video. “Hey, darlin’, I heard you weren’t doing so well. I just want you to know that I’m thinking about you and I’m praying for you and I hope you get better really, really soon. I just want you to know that I’m thinking about you. And thank you for listening to me and liking my music. That makes me very happy. Anyway, darlin’, I hope you get better real soon, and remember I love you. Bye, bye darlin’.”

Officer Damon Cole shared his thanks on Twitter, for brightening the day of this 10-year-old girl. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart @GeorgeStrait for doing this for my Hero Bella. #TeamBella.”

Officer Cole’s Twitter profile reads, “I am a full time police officer in Texas. In my off time I go across the country seeing children with cancer and other illnesses on my own time & money.”

Well done guys, well done!
