Brad Paisley Received a Baby Goat From Dustin Lynch Because He’s The Greatest Of All Time (Get It?)

-

The last thing you’d expect to see at a major country concert is a baby goat. But that’s exactly what country concert-goers got when they attended Brad Paisley’s Weekend Warrior Tour at Bridgestone arena in Nashville on Friday night (April 6).

Dustin Lynch wanted to gift his boss with something special. So he opted for a baby goat. While on stage performing Brad’s song “I’m Still a Guy,” Dustin had the small farm animal on stage. And it was on a leash. It doesn’t get any cuter than that.

When Brad sang the lines, “And in a weak moment I might walk your sissy dog, hold your purse at the mall, But remember, I’m still a guy,” Dustin handed the leash over to Brad. Perfect timing. It’s better than walking a sissy dog, we suppose.

“What do you get Brad Paisley as a thank you gift for having you on tour,” Dustin said from the stage. “And in my opinion Brad Paisley is one of the greatest of all time to do this. He is one of the GOAT’s of country music. So Brad, I got you a goat. We named her Telly, short for telecaster [guitar].”

“Well, you shouldn’t have. I’d like to thank…Is this an award? I’d like to thank my record label for all these years,” Brad joked. “First of all, it’s Wonder Woman dressed up. You have no idea, I could cry right now. You’re really giving me this? You better because my children will find out about this and they’ll be like, ‘Why didn’t you bring the goat home?’ The goat’s coming home. I’ll be on Youtube later reading how you take care of a goat.”

And Brad was correct, because backstage after the show, Brad’s son Jasper was walking Telly on the leash. The 8-year-old (soon to be 9 on April 17) assured One Country that he would take care of her and feed her. When asked what the new goat would eat, Jasper said “whatever she wants.”

Brad’s wife, Kimberly, took to Instagram with a message of her own. “#aboutlastnight Anyone know how to take care of a goat??”

There you have it. The Paisley family just got a new member. Welcome Telly.
