The Official Trailer for Season 4 of “Grace and Frankie” Is Here And We’re Loving Every Minute Of It

-

Netflix’s “Grace and Frankie” is readying their debut of season 4 with the first official trailer for the new season.

For those unfamiliar with the successful Netflix series, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin star as two women whose lives in turmoil after their husbands, played by Martin Sheen (Robert) and Sam Waterston (Saul), announce that they are leaving to be with each other.

Season 4 of the series is set to debut on January 19, but the trailer is out now and it’s everything we hoped it would be. Grace and Frankie are moving ahead with their vibrator business, Saul and Robert go to marriage counseling and the kids stage an intervention with their moms.

Speaking at the ATX TV Festival, co-creator Marta Kaufman said “This next chapter is really about, for the women, coming to terms with age. About coming to terms with how old they are, where there bodies are at this point, where their minds are at this point, and what that means.”

The new season also introduces some new faces to the cast including, Lisa Kudrow as Sheree, Grace’s manicurist of over 20 years and Peter Gallagher, a love interest for Grace. The show has everything from laughs and fights to new babies, friendships and tear-jerking moments. The only thing missing from “Grace and Frankie” is a cameo from their “9to5” co-star, Dolly Parton.

Dolly told One Country that they’ve been trying to make it work. “We’ve been trying to do that ever since they started the show. We keep trying every year but our schedule is always wrong, Dolly said. “When they’re doing they’re show and the time would come for me to do it, because you’d have to spend a week or 10 days working on it, I was doing something else. We talked about it, I’m still going to try. I’m sure it will be on a long time because it’s a great show. We haven’t been able to schedule it yet.”

Fingers crossed.

Grace and Frankie will premiere January 19 on Netflix.
