The Nashville Chapter of the Recording Academy held their annual Grammy Nominee party Thursday night (Jan. 11) at Loews Vanderbilt Plaza in Nashville to honor this year’s Grammy nominees.

Country nominees Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley (without Hillary Scott) and Thomas Rhett were in attendance, walking the red carpet along with nominees Danny Gokey; Americana artists David Rawlings and Gillian Welch, Bluegrass artists Rhonda Vincent and Bobby Osborne and Blues artists Keb’ Mo’ and Robert Randolph.

“On behalf of the board, we are proud to recognize this outstanding group of nominees,” said the Recording Academy’s Nashville chapter executive director Alicia Warwick. Adding that Nashville boasts 26 nominees in the 84 categories.

As nominees worked the room, dining on macaroni and cheese, chicken skewers and beef sliders, The John Birdsong Trio performed jazz classics from the stage.

One Country‘s Kelly Sutton caught up with a few nominees as they walked the red carpet.

“It’s such a dream, I can’t even tell you,” Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild said. “Growing up and watching the Grammy’s and then thinking that we are a part of American music history, that is incredible.”

All the winners will be announced Jan. 28 during the 60th annual Grammy Awards when they air live from Madison Square Garden in New York.
