Blake Shelton Tells Gwen Stefani He Loves Her During People’s Choice Award Acceptance Speech

Many collaborations happen during the People’s Choice Awards, but the best ones are when they are unplanned. Carson Daly and Blake Shelton took the stage to accept their win for “The Voice” as Competition Show of 2018.

While up on stage, Carson shouted out to Gwen Stefani, before Blake had a chance to do it, and invited her up on stage.

“All time favorite coach right there Gwen Stefani,” Blake said pointing to his girlfriend. “I love her.”

Gwen, shocked about being asked to join the guys, took the stage amidst much prodding.

“Who would’ve thought that this country artist could land one of my oldest friends in the music business?” Carson said as Gwen arrived.

“What am I doing?” Gwen said in an awkward moment. ” Oh my gosh, I’m so excited to be with Blake Shelton.”

Blake ended it quickly saying, “Thank you guys so much,” before Carson said, “They’re gonna get a room.”

Gwen, thrilled with the night, took to Instagram to share her favorite photos and congratulate her beau.

@blakeshelton #congrats@peopleschoice 😘👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻gx #datenight 🤷‍♀️,” she wrote.

Blake also took home Country Artist of 2018. Congratulations to all.
