Blake Shelton may not have taken home any awards from the 54th Annual ACM awards held in Las Vegas Sunday night (April 7), but that didn’t stop him and his girlfriend Gwen Stefani from celebrating an outstanding performance.

In her Instagram story, Gwen took us backstage as she awaited Blake to perform his current single “God’s Country.” Blake lit the stage on fire, literally as flames burst out behind him, with his solid performance. Gwen couldn’t agree more. The pop star shared video of Blake getting ready to take the stage before his moment and then she and his tour manager Kevin proclaimed that Blake Shelton literally sliced his performance.

Following Blake’s fiery performance, Gwen joined the Oklahoma native and his crew on the bus for a shot and a kiss.

“Ok, that was insanity,” Gwen said as she entered the bus.” I don’t think it could be better than that.” It was then that the liquor began to flow. Shots were poured and Blake looks at the camera to say, “We did it” and they all downed the shot in celebration.

After that, it was off to dinner to celebrate more, where it looks like some oysters were in order. What followed remains to be seen but the few affectionate photos of Blake and Gwen sharing a date night out in Las Vegas reveal that the couple had a great night with reason to celebrate.
