Jake Owen Releases “Made For You,” One of His Favorite Songs He Ever Recorded

-

Soon after releasing his radio single, “I Was Jack (You Were Diane),” Jake Owen is offering up another song, “Made For You,” from his upcoming album. The Florida native is calling this song one of his favorite songs ever recorded.

“I’ve been waiting on this day for a long time. Probably one of my favorite songs I’ve ever recorded. It’s out now! Play it for that person you were made for,” he wrote on Instagram.

The “Alone With You” singer doesn’t say who he intends the song to be about, but it has him singing about that special someone that he was made for. Perhaps the 36-year-old has a special women in mind.

“Like a ship without a sea. Or a song without a melody. I don’t know where I’d be or what I’d do. ‘Cause I was made for you,” Jake sings in the chorus.

The new ballad is just another taste of what’s to come from Jake, who seems to have found himself in a good place.

In addition, Jake will kick off the Life’s Whatcha Make It Tour on May 18 in Chattanooga. Chris Janson and Jordan Davis will join Jake as opening acts.
