Before Jason and Brittany Aldean welcomed their son Memphis into the world, fans were already clamoring to know which college football team he would be cheering for on Saturdays– dad’s beloved Georgia Bulldogs or mom’s perennial powerhouse team, the Alabama Crimson Tide.

This summer, Brittany shared with fans that Memphis’ fandom, “depends on which parent you ask.” Then, this fall she shared a photo of the couple in their team’s respective gear saying, “This baby is gonna have an identity crisis.”

The weekend Memphis was born, Jason’s Bulldogs played in the SEC Championship game and won— while decked out in his Georgia gear.

If you follow Brittany on Instagram, you know that last year Jason took Brittany to the National Championship game to watch Alabama play Clemson. Brittany called him a “trooper” for attending and Jason just said, “The things i do for this girl…”

One of those other things Jason does for Brittany is he lets her put up Crimson Tide paraphernalia in their home next to his Georgia Bulldog collection. This is definitely a house divided.

So, who will baby Memphis cheer for? Our guess is that he will wear Alabama gear, but be absolutely surrounded by Bulldog fans, because Jason loves being around other Bulldogs.
