Jon Pardi takes on a new role in his latest music video for “Night Shift”: semi-truck driver. The singer can be found behind the wheel of a semi at the start of the video as it heads towards Nashville’s Lower Broadway. Hopping out of the vehicle, Jon gives the driver a high-five before heading to the back of the truck to perform the song with his band.

“Night Shift” Video

The Jim Wright-directed clip is set after hours in Nashville. With the backdrop of Music City’s vibrant Lower Broadway behind him, Jon can be seen performing on the Pedestrian Bridge as well as the back of a semi as it cruises down Broadway.

“Night Shift” was written by Tofer Brown, Phillip LaRue and Billy Montana. The song is the fifth single off his “California Sunrise” album. It follows the success of Jon’s previous three chart toppers, “Head Over Boots,” “Dirt On My Boots” and “Heartache On the Dance Floor,” as well as top 25 hit “She Ain’t In It.”

“Had fun filming this one in downtown Nashville,” Jon shares on Twitter.

“College football is my favorite sport, so being able to incorporate that with my music is really cool. Football fans are big country music fans, and they are the ones coming out to the shows and standing in the rain, crowd surfing or just waiting to get into the concert to have fun!,” Jon says in a statement. “This is a big debut and a big game, especially around Texas and it’s something that I’ll never forget.”

Jon is currently on tour with Luke Bryan’s What Makes You Country Tour. The singer is also in the studio working on his third studio album.
