Likely, Blake Shelton was probably mostly impressed that Josh Gallagher used the Brothers Osborne hit, “Stay A Little Longer” for his blind audition on “The Voice” more than anything else, because it’s certainly something you don’t hear every day. It impressed us– we love those guys.

Gallagher, a Nashville native, also got a turn from Alicia Keys, as Miley Cyrus explained that Blake might be “too country,” before Adam begged him to choose Alicia. Alicia’s pitch included saying that, “country, the blues, and soul, are all brothers.”

Blake’s pitch was a little stronger, “country music is my life… I want to be a country artist. I want to live that way and I want to die that way.”

Blake eventually won him over.

Also, it probably doesn’t hurt that Josh stole his look straight from Cole Swindell, Blake’s Warner Music label mate.
