Kacey Musgraves hasn’t said, but one can only hope she got caught up on “Nashville” before her season 5 finale guest appearance. In April she started binge watching the show and declared she wanted to tour with Rayna James before immediately tweeting that she was only on season 3 and didn’t want any spoilers.

After the Twitter storm, the show’s creator, Callie Khouri, tweeted at Kacey–

The last time she tweeted about the show she had 53 episodes to go, which is about 40 hours worth of TV time.

If she didn’t know that Rayna died before walking onto the set, she was probably pretty disappointed to not see Connie Britton, but she didn’t show it during her impromptu jam session with Maddie and Daphne (Lennon and Stella Maisy).

The song the group sings was written by Lennon Stella, Marylynne Stella, and Trent Dabbs. Musgraves co-wrote “Undermine” with Dabbs— the first song Deacon Claybourne and Juliette Barnes wrote together during season 1.
