Kane Brown may be on top of the world with a number one album with his sophomore release “Experiment,” which dropped earlier this month, but the country singer is showing no signs of slowing down. Days after it was announced his latest album debuted at No. 1 on both the all-genre Billboard 200 and Billboard Top Country Albums charts, it was revealed that he has another collaboration coming with EDM artist Marshmello.
“I’m thankful that me and @kanebrown have a song coming next year,” Marshmello wrote on Twitter on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 22).
Kane confirmed the news, sharing the post on his own Twitter page. Not much is known about the collaboration, but the country singer did hint at it on the red carpet ahead of the 2018 American Music Awards with Billboard in October. When asked about his past collaboration with Camila Cabello on “Never Be the Same,” he shared that there is another feature in the works with an artist from another genre.
“I am talking to another artist that’s going to be here tonight about doing a collab,” Kane hinted. “So we’ll see if it falls through. It’s not country.”
The interviewer then asked if he’s been working with a dance artist like the Chainsmokers.
“I wouldn’t say it’s like the Chainsmokers but it is,” he added. When asked by Billboard if the artist was Marshmello, a big smile engulfed his face. “Maybe. That would be cool.”
