Keith Urban has been added to the star-studded lineup for the “Country Rising: Nashville Gives For Hurricane Relief” benefit concert, held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Nov 12.
What started out as a benefit concert to help those affected by Hurricances Harvey, Irma, Jose and Maria, had expanded it’s efforts to help those who lost their lives and were injured at the Route 91 Music Festival in Las Vegas on Oct. 1.
While Keith Urban will join the lineup, Garth Brooks, who was already announced, will no longer be appearing due to schedule conflicts from his world tour. However, the superstar will be donating all proceeds from his two added concerts on Nov. 12 to The Country Rising Fund.
Artists scheduled to appear include, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Chris Stapleton, George Strait and Carrie Underwood.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit The Country Rising Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, which was established to support charitable initiatives to help victims of the September 2017 hurricanes — Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Jose and Maria. The fund will now incorporate victims of the Las Vegas shooting.
Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, Oct. 20 at 10:00 a.m. CT at www.Ticketmaster.com.
