Keith Urban “Loves” Post Malone and There’s a Collaboration Coming

-

Keith Urban is a big fan of Post Malone and at Spotify’s 2nd Annual Secret Genius Awards, the country star revealed that there’s a collaboration coming between the two artists.

“I love Post [Malone],” he tells E! News during a recent red carpet appearance. “We collaborated on a song for this Elvis [Presley] special. It’s going to be coming out in January. I had a blast.”

Keith went on to praise his duet partner: “He’s the real deal. He’s so eclectic, so steeped in all kinds of music. I love him,” he gushes.

Post Malone recently teamed up with Crocs to design the Post Malone x Crocs Dimitri Clog. The shoe features his logo and additional artwork that match his tattoos. When asked if Keith was gifted with a pair of Crocs as a thank you for their work together he said no, but admits that he had his sights on something else of Post’s.

“I wanted his Nudie Suit. He’s so badass,” he adds.

Not much has been revealed about the forthcoming Elvis television special as far as artist performances. It’s set to air in January on NBC and celebrates the 50th anniversary of the late singer’s 1968 comeback special that marked Elvis Presley’s return to live television.

According to Billboard, The 50th Anniversary of the Elvis Comeback Special will feature today’s biggest artists “recreating the spectacle and the staging of the original show.” The two-hour broadcast will also include rare footage of Elvis and interviews from those who were involved in the comeback special 50 years ago. On Dec. 3, the world premiere broadcast of the original special will air on NBC.
